Job Overview

This is not a marketing or software engineering role.

We’re hiring a Senior HubSpot Platform Consultant to lead complex HubSpot implementations, migrations, and RevOps system design for B2B clients. In this role, you’ll own client outcomes end-to-end, lead a small delivery pod, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across a portfolio of 4–7 active accounts.

This is a fully remote position within the United States. We are unable to sponsor international applicants.

Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 base salary, plus a strong benefits package (details below).


How We Work

We’ve invested heavily in two things that fundamentally change what it’s like to work here: a structured delivery framework and an AI-forward operating model. The goal is simple — Senior Consultants should spend their time on architecture, strategy, and leadership, not administrative work.

Structured Delivery

Every implementation follows a defined five-phase lifecycle:

Discovery → Solution Design → Build → Testing → Go-Live

Each phase includes:

  • A clear definition of "done"
  • Required deliverables (such as Lucidchart diagrams, Zoom walkthroughs, or test logs)
  • Separate task and review ownership so execution and QA remain clearly divided

As the Senior Consultant on a pod, you own the client outcome and decide how work is distributed across phases and across team members. Depending on the engagement, you may lead discovery and solution design yourself while delegating build and testing work to a Platform Consultant. In other cases, you may review a Platform Consultant’s design before execution. The framework is structured, but the delivery approach remains flexible.

AI-Native Operations

We use AI to improve visibility, reduce manual overhead, and remove work that doesn’t require senior-level judgment.

For example:

  • Client calls are automatically transcribed and organized by account and contact, making it easy for anyone joining a project to get up to speed quickly
  • Statements of work are converted into structured Asana project plans automatically, including dependencies and phase-based task breakdowns
  • We’re rolling out additional Notion-based workflow agents in 2026

The result is that Senior Consultants spend more time on solution architecture, client strategy, and pod leadership — and less time on note-taking, task creation, and status chasing.


What You’ll Do

Lead a Delivery Pod

  • Serve as the Senior Consultant within a pod of 2–3 team members
  • Delegate work across the five-phase delivery lifecycle based on project needs and each Platform Consultant’s experience level
  • Review designs, builds, and testing outcomes to ensure quality at every handoff
  • Mentor Platform Consultants toward independent solution ownership

Note: This is a senior individual contributor / technical lead role. Formal people management responsibilities — including performance reviews, compensation conversations, and career planning — sit with the Director of Client Services.

Design and Deliver Complex HubSpot Solutions

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client systems, processes, and business goals
  • Architect scalable HubSpot solutions, including:
    • Custom objects
    • Workflows
    • Lifecycle stages
    • Permissions
    • Data architecture
    • Reporting
  • Design and oversee integrations with adjacent systems, including Salesforce, Stripe, Chargebee, data warehouses, and marketing automation platforms
  • Maintain clear internal and client-facing documentation

Serve as a Trusted Advisor

  • Act as the primary point of contact for 4–7 active client accounts
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with documented KPIs and roadmap recommendations
  • Balance client-facing strategy work with hands-on platform configuration and team enablement

Approximately 50% of the role is client-facing; 50% is hands-on implementation and internal leadership.

Stay Current

  • Keep up with HubSpot platform releases and best practices
  • Share learnings with the broader team to improve delivery quality

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring HubSpot portals across multiple organizations
  • Direct experience leading HubSpot implementations, migrations, or major rebuilds end-to-end
  • Revenue Operations background (Sales Ops or Marketing Ops experience also valued)
  • Demonstrated expertise in HubSpot objects, workflows, permissions, data models, and reporting
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or agency environment
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering work on time and within scope
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Nice-to-Haves

  • HubSpot certifications, especially Solutions Architect, Data Management, or Sales/Marketing Hub Implementation
  • Experience with complex B2B sales funnels
  • Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce, billing platforms, or data warehouses
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Notion AI in a professional delivery environment

This Role Is Not a Fit If You

  • Are primarily a software engineer or application developer
  • Have used HubSpot mainly as an end user rather than implementing or configuring it
  • Are seeking a demand generation, content marketing, or growth marketing role
  • Do not have direct HubSpot implementation experience
  • Are located outside the United States

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $90,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience
  • Recognition bonus: up to $5,000/year for proactively identifying client expansion opportunities (recognition-based, not commission)

How Success Is Measured

Project Delivery

  • Consistently identifies and proposes optimization or scope recommendations before clients ask
  • Delivers assigned projects on time and within scope
  • Maintains 4–7 active client engagements in good standing
  • Maintains clear documentation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication

Client Strategy

  • Leads quarterly business reviews with defined KPIs and documented plans
  • Maintains complete documentation across assigned accounts

Client Portfolio Health

  • Identifies and documents expansion opportunities across the client portfolio
  • Contributes to retainer client retention (team target: 85%)

Pod Leadership

  • Develops Platform Consultants toward independent solution ownership through structured delegation, review, and feedback
